Internet 2.0! That is the other common name for Network Social Media.
For those who have something to teach and those who have an urge to learn, NSM is a very rich place to interact and get information.
Wikis, Chat rooms, Slideshare.com, Facebook, LinkedIn, Blogs, Second life, ... you name it.
Prof. Maged Boulos, has posted a great presentation about NSM that opened a great field for me personally to communicate with my students and friends on the internet.
Many other presentations are available on the same website about open source software and its applications in education. I would highly recommend that you try seeing some of these presentations if you are interested in learning or teaching on the internet.
These thoughts might not be so interesting to many of you, however, I hope that they might open some doors for free access education for more people allover the world.
